COLAS ÚT Zrt. as a Hungarian member of the international Colas Group has a consolidated position on the domestic road construction market. Our activities include road construction, road and surface rehabilitation as well as manufacturing and selling of asphalt. The company’s experience and reference ranges from construction of by-pass roads through traditional intersections and round-abouts to parking lots, pavement rehabilitation and road widening works both in urban and outer areas. We have clients both from the public and the private sector.
COLAS ÚT Zrt. operates throughout Hungary that means our company is present in every region of the country. Our regional directorates are located in Dunaharaszti and Tata each managed by a regional manager. Our mixing plants are at strategic locations that allow us to perform works in each corner of the country. These mixing plants are situated in Debrecen-Apafa, Nógrádkövesd, Felsőzsolca, Kiskunfélegyháza, Dunaharaszti, Jászberény, Táplánypuszta, Bak and Jánosháza. Besides, we own a mobile asphalt mixing plant as well. Quality Control and Factory Production Control are performed by our certified laboratory supervised by our director of technology. The activities of our laboratory also include the quality control of the works executed by our subcontractors. Concerning innovations we maintain close contact with our mother company. The activity of our Special Technology Unit which is dealing with special technologies used in the road construction industry ranges from asphalt milling through cold remix technology to soil stabilisation. We have an emulsion plant in Gyöngyös.
